Nicky’s inspiration stems from a love for the ethereal and the otherworldly, including themes like Eastern European folklore and fairytales. Her work showcases older sewing techniques, detailed fabric manipulation, and whimsical wearability. She also has a passion for using sustainable techniques and sourcing secondhand fabrics in her work. Nicky lives with her two cats (who also serve as her sewing apprentices), Lešij and Princess Yue.
